Our local veterinarians are the communities first line of defense for responsible pet ownership.  We need to encourage pet owners to fully vaccinate their pets and adopt a spay/neuter philosophy to prevent our current pet overpopulation problem.

 A special thank you to our veterinarians who encourage pet licensing; less than 5% of the pets coming into our local animal shelters have any form of identification.  Few pet owners promptly look for their lost pets, resulting in an over crowding situation at the animal shelter and forcing a high euthanasia rate. Many of our residents were not properly educated as responsible pet owners in their youth and desperately need the advice of their veterinarian. Resources:
