Jacksonville Animal Care and Control is your governmental resource
for animal related issues from citizen complaints to licensing your
pet. Animal Care and Control has two locations from which to adopt
pets. Animal Care and Control's main facility on 1st Street is where
you go to look for a lost pet. |

 |
Jacksonville
Humane Society is our local no-kill facility. Because their
organization is in high demand for taking in animals, you should call
first to make an appointment prior to taking an animal to them. |

First Coast No
More Homeless Pets
is the place to go if you need financial assistance to spay/neuter your
pet. Spay/neutering of pets is the primary means to end the pet
overpopulation in our community. |
